In traditional composite bonding, your dentist sculpts each tooth individually by hand. The resin is applied, shaped, and polished one tooth at a time, relying entirely on the operator's eye and experience to achieve symmetry, proportion, and natural-looking results. Phase 2: 3D Guide Fabrication — The digital design is converted into a precision 3D guide — a physical template that fits over your teeth and defines exactly where and how much composite should be placed. Think of it as a mould that transfers the digital design directly onto your teeth with millimetre accuracy.

Phase 3: Guided Application — During your appointment, the guide is placed over your teeth. Composite resin is applied through the guide, ensuring each tooth receives the exact amount of material in the exact shape designed digitally. The result is consistent across all teeth, from first to last, because the guide — not operator fatigue — determines the final form.

Limitations

SwiftSculpt™ is designed for composite bonding cases. It is not used for porcelain veneers (which require a dental laboratory), dental implants, or orthodontic treatment. If your case requires tooth-coloured restorations that are not bonding (such as ceramic inlays or onlays), a different workflow applies.
